Quick & Simple: Tea for Two Get Well

Hexagons are a popular shape in the new Spring 2013 Catalog.  There is even a hexagon design in the Tea for Two DSP set! I layered a soft blue grid-line pattern over the hexagon pattern and added spunky polka dot ribbon for a sweet Get Well Card.

I was so excited to revisit my favorite layout for mini cards – using the adorable Petite Curly Label Punch from the 2013 Sale-a-bration promotion.  This feminine motif of calypso coral flowers makes a sweet Thank You card!

Thinking of You in So Saffron

So saffron is a great spring color! For this sweet Thinking of You card, I found a pop of color with the Ruffled Ribbon Island Indigo.  I added some dimension by propping up a floral circle punched from the DSP on top of a circle for a great centerpiece place mat for the clean and simple salutation.

Easter Watercolors

Another adventure in watercolors! I busted out the Aqua Painter to create this fun springtime Easter card.  I love the soft details you can create with the water color pens.  This new stamp set from the Spring 2013 Catalog is adorable! I can’t wait to create more Spring projects!

PAPER: Certainly Celery Cardstock, Watercolor Paper, Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP, Melon Mambo Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock.

Quick & Simple: Soft and Sweet Birthday

For this soft and sweet birthday card, I layered Pink Pirouette Cardstock with Tea for Two DSP.  Layers of subtle patterns pop with a few delicate embellishments.

Chevron on Chevron – Thinking of You

Chevron designs are all the rage! In the new Spring 2013 Catalog, there are several Designer Series Paper sets that include this popular design, including this one: Tea for Two DSP.

Here, I paired the chevrons of the DSP with embossed cardstock using Chevron Folder.  I love  the elegance of subtle details!

As a special gift, I created a set of greeting cards from the Tea for Two DSP and this complementing card box.  I LOVE the new stamp set: Oh Hello Clear.  It has a great zig zag patterned oval stamp and some bold salutations.

Take Two: Masculine Cards with Well Worn DSP

Following the same basic layout, I used Well Worn DSP to create two masculine greeting cards.  I took a few progress photos so you could see my planning process in action.  Don’t forget to keep your eye on the Clearance Rack for special deals – this designer series paper was less than five bucks! score!
